<p>PURPOSE: To assure lubricating and cooling functions which is in connection with the needle reliability by arranging a penetrate ports located at a position radially outward from the needle bearings in a thrust washer directly adjacent each of the planet pinions, and arranging recesses at periphery of the other thrust washer. CONSTITUTION: In the case of thrust load, the planetary gear 2 changes its position to the right of the axial direction, two thrust washers 9, 10 are pressed each other. Lubricating oil flows through sector-shaped recesses 11 of the outer thrust washer 9 and their top and reaches to the hole 13 of the inner thrust washer 10. Needle 8 of the needle bearing assembly 7 rotates while engaging with the inner thrust washer 10. While the needle 8 displaces to the left of the axial direction in respect to the axial direction displacement of the planetary gear 2, as the volume of their round end part increases, the pump effect is increased. The needle 8 presses the two washers 9, 10 from the planetary gear 2, lubricating oil can freely goes flow following the arrow sign of the dash line.</p> |
