PURPOSE:To obtain the waveguide made of the fiber reinforced type plastic composite material with little resistance loss of electromagnetic wave energy by processing a core bar as specified by using a superconducting material, etc., and removing the core bar after the processing is completed. CONSTITUTION:The core bar 1 in a necessary shape is degreased as required, the superconductor (e. g., La-Sr-Cu-O, Y-Ba-Cu-O, or organic material) in a solution state is blown to the core bar, and its superconductor thin film is baked at the best sintering temperature to form the superconductor thin film 3. Then, thermosetting resin 4 is applied on the core bar where the thin film is formed to necessary thickness and then a carbon, boron, or silica fiber- reinforced plastic composite material 5 is laminated and set. Then the core bar 1 is fused or removed to obtain the waveguide 2. This waveguide obtained as mentioned above has no resistance loss of electromagnetic wave energy, a good conductor is obtained, and the lightweight device with excellent tensile strength is obtained. |
