<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to observe an relieved-up posture of an emblem even in a dark place, by providing a distance marker/emblem having an illuminating means and a light emitting means in the upper part of the front center section of an automobile in the vicinity of a bonnet. CONSTITUTION:An emblem 1 is formed in a shape including a letter-shape which has been designated beforehand is formed from synthetic resin, glass, metal or the like. It is possible to incorporate a light emitting means 2 in a part of the emblem. The emblem 1 is supported by a shank 4 which is connected to an angularly variable bearing 5 so as to be angularly adjustable. A lighting means 6 is provided inside of the angularly variable bearing 5. This bearing 5 is connected to a pedestal 7 which is mounted on a vehicle body 15 through the intermediary of a bonding means 10. With this arrangement, an index mark having less errors in distant feeling may be provided, thereby it is possible to give a more effective index mark even in a dark place.</p> |
