<p>PURPOSE:To monitor, control, prearrange, etc., a transmission line over a monitoring control channel with less transmission capacity, by packeting various pieces of monitoring control information to be transmitted and received by a terminal, and multiplexing them over a common monitoring control channel for transmission. CONSTITUTION:Intermediate relays 2 and 2' are arranged on the main transmission line 3 between transmitting terminal stations 1 and 1', and one of channels of the main transmission line 3 is used as the monitoring control channel 10 for transmitting pieces of monitoring control information. Then, telephone sets 7 for prearrangement, terminals 8 for monitoring, and terminals 9 for control which are installed in the transmitting terminal stations 1 and 1' and telephone sets 7 installed in the intermediate repeating stations are connected to the monitoring control channel 10 through packet communicating equipments 11 respectively. Various pieces of monitoring control information such as a voice for prearrangement and control information are multiplexed easily and one common monitoring control channel is usable in common for transmission and reception.</p> |
