PURPOSE: A method for managing a system error in a network system is provided to enable a manager to recognize an error generation phenomenon through a log file as a network state rapidly and exactly by classifying and storing log files with respect to internal errors related to an RMON(Remote Monitoring) process and system errors of a device according to specific events, time, traffic generation places, and source/destination IP addresses in accordance with a display parameter, and by graphing and displaying the files. CONSTITUTION: A corresponding session is created by checking session forming request information in accordance with a session request in an RMON process. At this time, a predetermined display parameter with respect to the corresponding log file is set for creating statistics of a log file(S36). In case that an error generated is confirmed by collecting and analyzing statistics information and alarm/event group related information periodically, an alarm/event is created and a trap or a log file is created(S40). The log files are stored according to predetermined classifications by analyzing a pre-set display parameter(S41). The stored log file is graphed and displayed through a screen(S42).
