A heavy transportation vehicle, in particular for the transportation of tanks or construction-machinery track-laying or wheeled vehicles, comprises a multi-axle vehicle frame with a driver's cab, engine and transmission and steerable wheels and a loading platform. So that a vehicle of this kind has low clearance levels even in the loaded condition, there is provided at least one front and at least one rear axle, the wheels of which have larger track widths than the wheels of at least one central axle arranged therebetween.
