A device for separating household waste in apartment blocks comprises a number of inlets 2,3 for household waste which, via a duct 1, are connected to a collecting device 4 having a plurality of compartments 5-10 for household waste. The collecting device has a motor 12 for advancing the compartments 5-10 into receiving positions beneath the duct 1. In order to allow separation of different types of household waste into different compartments 5-10, at each inlet 2,3 there is provided a control mechanism 14,15 attached to the motor 12, which control mechanism can be actuated by means of an apartment key and serves to advance an optional compartment 5-10 into the receiving position beneath the duct 1. At each inlet 2,3 there are further arranged returning members for automatically returning a certain compartment to a receiving position when the apartment key is removed. <IMAGE> |
