发明名称 SHIFT LEVER LOCK DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a miniature shift lever lock device with a simple structure which reduces the manipulation force of lock release, by transmitting manipulations of an ignition key and a brake pedal to an engaging member for engaging a shift lever to a lock member, through a cable, a bell crank and a line so as to release the locking condition of the shift lever. CONSTITUTION:In such a lock condition that a shift lever 10 is locked in a recess 43 in a lock member 42 while an ignition key 67 is set at a lock position, and the forward end 53a of a second lock member 53 is locked to a projection 42a on the lock member 42, when the ignition key 67 is turned to a start position, the second locking member 53 is actuated so that the forward end 53a is released from the projection 42b on the lock member 42. When a brake pedal 66 is depressed so as to actuate a pin 47 on a first locking member 45, the first locking member 45 is released from a projection 42a on the locking member 42. With this arrangement, the lock member 42 is rotated freely about a shaft 44, thereby it is possible to aim at miniaturizing the shift lever lock device and at reducing the manipulating force.
