<p>PURPOSE:To effect automatic cleaning of a discharge wire, by fixing a horn-type drive ring to a discharge wire vertically stretched of an electrostatic precipitator, and blowing air upwardly by means of a nozzle so that said drive ring moves along the discharge wire. CONSTITUTION:Drive rings 13 formed into a horn-shape are fixed to vertically- stretched discharge wires 1 of an electrostatic precipitator. By blowing air upwardly by means of nozzles 14, the drive rings 13 are caused to move along the discharge wires 1. Consequently, dusts deposited on the wires 1 can easily be dislodged.</p> |
