PURPOSE:To reduce vertical movements of the surface of coating liquid accompanied by dipping and lifting a body to be coated by arranging a projected part in an inner wall of an applicator vessel at a position not to touch a face of the body to be coated when it is dipped into the liquid. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 4 is coated with a coating liquid 1, contained in an applicator vessel 2, by being dipped into and lifted from the coating liquid 1. A projected part 3 is arranged in an inner wall 2a of the vessel 2 at a position not to touch a face of the body 4 when it is dipped into the liquid. It is possible, as a result, to reduce vertical movements of the surface of coating liquid accompanied by dipping and lifting the body and also to reduce a necessary amount of the coating liquid. |
