PURPOSE:To easily hold the continuity of a video by switching a non-delaying television signal and a delaying television signal in a horizontal blanking after a time base compression by means of a switching means. CONSTITUTION:From a memory 1 for expanding and compressing a time base, television signals 1d and 1d' are read by a clock signal 1c of a necessary frequency. Either of the television signals after the time base compression, for example the television signal 1d', is delayed by a means 5 delayed in a fixed period for reading. Further, a non-delaying television signal 1d and a delaying television signal 1h are switched by a switching means 6 in the horizontal blanking after the time base compression. Thus, the signals are not switched in an effective screen, and a television signal 1j without discontinuous points can be obtained. |
