PURPOSE: To prevent breakage of needle and separation loss of carbon fiber by punching a nonwoven fabric containing a carbon fiber by plural specific needles. CONSTITUTION: A nonwoven fabric laminated by using a punching apparatus implanted with a great number of needles having substantially the same hardness and modulus of elasticity as those of carbon fiber and the maximum diameter A of 15-2,000 times as large as that of the carbon fiber is subjected to needle punching in the thickness direction many times. The peripheral faces of blades 1 are provided with plural barbs 2 projecting from the peripheral faces outward, the barbs 2 are slightly inclined from the blades 1 toward tip end sides and recessed parts in which fibers are taken are formed between the barbs 2 and the peripheral faces of the blades 1.
