<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a compact and mechanically excellent tire vulcanizer by providing a spacer whose vertical length is adjustable in a freely interposing and retracting manner between a mold pressing mechanism and an upper mold support sliding part. CONSTITUTION:Oil pressure is supplied into the cylinder of a mold presser 50 and a pison 52 is lowered by about 2.5mm., whereupon the piston 52 contacts with the upper end of a spacer body 101 and the head 109a of a regulating screw 109 in the body 101 contacts with the head 26 of a sliding part 2. Then, conjointly with the closing and holding of the mold by the pressing amount of a fluid-pressure cylinder 5 for closing or opening the mold, both upper and lower molds 10 and 11 are completely clamped together by the pressing amount of a cylinder 51 in the mold presser 50, and the green tire 97 is pressed and vulcanized by the pressure rise of hot and pressure medium inside the elastic molding 91 and the heat of the hot boards 6 and 7 of the upper and lower molds 10 and 11.</p> |
