PURPOSE:To increase the strength of a battery storage box and enable the easy storage and removal of a battery in and from the box by constituting the box monolithically with a bottom wall, front and rear walls and one side wall, and a cover and positioning the box in a space at the side of a bicycle body. CONSTITUTION:A storage box 20 is monolithically formed with a box 21 comprising a bottom wall, front and rear walls and at least one of side walls, and a cover 22 comprising a cover body corresponding to the front of a rear wheel and a semi-cylinder part surrounding a seat pillar tube 15. And this box 20 is provided in a triangular space R located at the side of a bicycle body and formed with a seat rail 14, a down tube 13 and a tube 15. As the lower portions of the tubes 13 and 15 are positioned at both external sides of the box 20, a battery V is free from interference by the tubes 13 and 15, and the cover 22 also adds to the strength of the box 20. According to the aforesaid construction, the battery V can be easily stored in and taken out from the box 20 and the fracture of the box 20 is reduced. |
