PURPOSE:To obtain a lever by which high speed printing can be performed at low power consumption, by a method wherein a ratio of an arm part plate thickness to an armature part plate thickness is made a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A wire 2 is fixed to a wire fitting part at the top of a lever 1, and the lever 1 can be rotated within a certain angle centering a fulcrum shaft 11. When current is applied to a coil 8, a magnetic circuit composed of a frame 7, a yoke 9, a yoke 10, and a lever 11 is constructed, magnetic suction force acts on an air gap between (D) and (E), and the lever 1 rotates in the arrow A direction. The wire 2 fixed to the top of the lever 1 is projected thereby to transfer ink onto a printing paper 6 via an ink ribbon 5, and printing is performed. Since an armature part (C) has a role as a magnetic path component, a plate thickness t2 is made so thick that magnetic flux can easily pass therethrough. Then, since moment of inertia around a fulcrum of the lever is necessarily made small so that an arm part (B) and a wire fitting part (A) can follow high speed printing operation, a plate thickness t1 is so shaped as to be not more than two-fifths of the armature part plate thickness t2. |
