NOVEL BACILLUS SP. WRD-2 ISOLATED FROM SOIL AND FIBRINOLYTIC AGENT COMPOSITION COMPRISING EXTRACELLULAR PROTEASE PRODUCED THEREBY AS AN ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE: Provided are a novel bacillus sp. WRD-2 isolated from soil and a fibrinolytic agent composition comprising extracellular protease produced thereby as an active ingredient. The novel bacillus sp. WRD-2 produces protease having over 90% of enzyme activity at low temperature of 20-40 deg.C thus has excellent fibrinolytic activity. CONSTITUTION: The novel bacillus sp. WRD-2(KCTC 0869BP) is isolated from a soil sample by screening 30 strains producing a clear zone of protease having a size of 2cm or more and screening a strain having the most excellent enzyme activity. The fibrinolytic agent composition contains extracellular protease produced by the bacillus sp. WRD-2(KCTC 0869BP) as an active ingredient and shows excellent fibrinolytic activity.
