PURPOSE:To easily take a molded body out of a mold by a method wherein let the air flow in the mold through paths simultaneously with mold opening. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum bottom plate 3 of a mold, in which holes 4 are bored at equal space intervals and through grooves 5 are cut lengthwise and crosswise so as to contain the holes 4, is placed at the lowermost part of the mold. Next, a frame mold 1 is placed on the plate 3. In the frame of the mold 1, an aluminum cover plate 6 is placed so as to prevent resin from leaking through the holes of the bottom plate 3. Next, kneading product, which is produced by homogeneously kneading mixture of thermoplastic resin, foaming agent and crosslinking agent with heated rolls, is charged into the mold with holes and grooves and the mold is closed by a top plate 2. The resultant mold is heated under pressure and the pressure is removed when the mold is heated up to high temperature. Simultaneously with the removal of the pressure, the air flows in the mold through the holes 4 and the grooves 5, resulting in letting a foam to spontaneously spring out of the mold without sticking to the mold and obtaining a homogeneous foam. |
