摘要 The suspension to be processed is passed through a working chamber (6) which is packed with grinding medium and is fitted in an annular gap ball mill. Cell disruption takes place on rotation of a cylindrical rotor (3) concentrically with a cylindrical stator (4). These form the boundaries of the annular gap (6). After the suspension has been treated in the annular gap, the material is separated from the milling balls and led off. The separation takes place in a separating element which allows the disrupted product through. It is important to achieve a narrow residence time distribution in the treatment, e.g. by generating Taylor's turbulent flow, in the annular gap, and to pass the suspension in this way through the working chamber. The operating parameters such as the geometry of the annular gap (6), the nature of the grinding medium and the speed of rotation of the rotor (3) are chosen accordingly. <IMAGE>
