Polymorphic clopidogrel hydrogenesulphate form

摘要

A crystalline (+) - (S) polymorph of clopidogrel hydrogen sulphate whose X-ray diffractogram gives the interplanar distances as 4.11; 6.86; 3.60; 5.01; 3.74, 6.49 and 5.66 Å. The polymorphs characteristic infrared absorption peaks expressed in cm-1 are 2551, 1497, 1189 and 1029. Also described is a method for the preparation of the polymorph and pharmaceutical compositions.
