A post construction for walls in building consisting of a number of posts (1) that extends vertically between a floor joist (21) and a roof joist (52). The posts are provided with a device (20) for adapting the length of the post to the current roof height. In their one end, the posts (1) are provided with a longitudinal projecting section (2) for meshing in a groove (51 and 22 respectively) in the roof or floor joist (52 and 21 respectively). In their other end they are provided with a groove (3) for receiving at least one wedge element (20), which is designed to be received by a corresponding groove (22 and 51 respectively) in the floor or roof joist (21 and 52 respectively) and which has a suitable height for adapting the length of the pole to the current roof height.<IMAGE> |
