PURPOSE: Provided are a magnetic paint composition for shielding and absorbing electromagnetic waves, which contains magnetic powder and a liquid binder resin, and a process for producing the magnetic paint composition. CONSTITUTION: The magnetic paint composition contains 30-95wt% of the magnetic powder and 5-70wt% of the liquid binder resin. The magnetic powder contains at least one selected from the group consisting of Sr-ferrite, Ba-ferrite, Mn-Zn ferrite, Mg-Zn ferrite, Ni-Zn ferrite, permalloy, supermalloy, sendust, Fe, Cu, Al, Nd-Fe-B alloy, Al-Ni-Co alloy, or Sm-Co alloy powder. And the liquid binder resin is at least one selected from the group consisting of an acryl resin, a polyurethane resin, a polyester resin, an alkyd resin, a fluorinated resin, a silicone resin, a polycarbonate resin, a polyamide resin, an aldehyde resin, and a polyvinyl alcohol resin. |
