PURPOSE: A solenoid structure for a power transmission system of a washing machine is provided to prevent the damage of a coil and a temperature protecting element by mounting the temperature protecting element in a space separated from the coil. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid structure for a power transmission system of a washing machine includes a bobbin(100) formed with a through hole(101) penetrated by a driving shaft for the operation of the washing machine and wound with a coil(102) on an outer periphery, first and second yoke plates(92,96) mounted at both ends of the bobbin for forming magnetic paths of magnetic flux formed by the coil, and a temperature protecting element(109) mounted in a securing space(108) formed at a side of the bobbin to be separated from the coil for sensing the heat generated from the coil. |
