PURPOSE: A backlight device is provided to resolve the problems of bad short by wires or FPCs(Flexible Printed Circuits), environmental problems due to the soldering or the short lifespan by supplying power to a lamp via receptacle or plug mounted at both ends of the lamps. CONSTITUTION: A backlight device includes a lamp(11) as a light source, lamp holders(16), a lamp reflecting unit(17), a reflecting plate(15), a light guide panel(12) and external power connection parts such as receptacles(21) mounted in the lamp holders to be mounted at both ends of the lamp, wherein the external power connection parts are engraved or embossed to be connected to electrode parts of the lamp. |
