<p>Check-out cash-desk counter for a supermarket and a hypermarket, of the type comprising an endless entry conveyor (1) and an endless exit conveyor (2), separated by the cash register (3) and its input aids (4, 5), comprising a barrier with a light beam (6) and with a photoelectric cell of conventional type or a similar detection means at the entry of the exit belt (2), in the immediate vicinity of the location (7) of the check-out assistant, this barrier being connected to the drive motor of the exit belt (2) so that it sets this belt running when the beam is hidden, and so that it immediately stops this motor when the beam is no longer hidden. <IMAGE></p> |
