PURPOSE:To effectively cool a plunger tip at the necessary place by blowing a water droplet or mist via a spraying pipe to the inner face of the cooling chamber formed inside a tip main body. CONSTITUTION:The tip main body 1 linked by screwing it to the tip of a plunger rod 2 is approached to the plunger sleeve 8 of an injection mechanism and cast inside a forming die by injecting a molten metal. The cooling chamber 4 communicating to the insertion hole 5 of the plunger rod 2 inside is formed inside the tip main body 1 in said plunger tip. The spray pipe 6 pierced with numerous nozzle holes 7 on the tip part is inserted from said insertion hole 5 into this cooling chamber 4. A water droplet or mist (n) is then blown to the inner face of the cooling chamber 4 from said nozzle hole 7. The plunger tip is thus properly cooled without over-cooling at the necessary place. |
