PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body superior in mechanical strength and good in electric characteristics at the time of repeated uses by incorporating a polycarbonate composed essentially or repeating units specified in structure and a compound having a hindered phenol structural unit in the molecule in the surface region of the side of a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The surface region of the side of the photosensitive layer contains the polycarbonate having the main repeating structural units of each represented by formula I and/or II in which each or R<1> and R<2> is H, an aliphatic group, or the like; each of R<3>-R<10> is H, halogen, or the like; and Z is an atomic group necessary to form a hydrocarbon ring or hetero ring, and the compound having the hindered phenol structural unit in the molecule, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be superior in mechanical strength and good in electric characteristics at the time of repeated uses. |
