摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce considerably the processing quantity of a post-processing concerning the variance of a detection signal, by collecting pulse data and detecting feature data such as maximum, minimum, and smoothed values of various parameter of respective pulses such as pulse intervals, pulse widths, frequencies, and pulse amplitudes. CONSTITUTION:When pulse data 2a passes through a pulse filter 3, the difference between the arrival time of the preceding passing pulse and the arrival time of the current passing pulse is calculated in a circuit 7 of a pre-processing device 12 for detection of the variance of a detection signal, and this difference, namely, a pulse repeat interval is inputted to a register 8 and is stored temporarily. The pulse interval between the current passing pulse and the preceding passing pulse is checked for validity; and if it is valid, a feature detecting circuit 9 calculates a smoothed value of a pulse interval PI and stores it in a feature data storage memory 10. Next, the feature detecting circuit 9 compares the value of the pulse repeat interval with maximum PI data of the feature data memory 10 to renew contents of the memory 10. Thus, the variance of the detection signal is detected beforehand to discriminate whether the analysis of collected data is required or not before the puse analysis on a basis of check results of only feature data, and therefore, the burden of the post-processing is reduced.
