PURPOSE:To improve the real-time property of the processing period of a main body CPU by performing the hard copy processing in a CPU on a hard copy board by distributed processing. CONSTITUTION:A main body CPU 10 writes graphic data and text data in a video RAM (VRAM 1) on its own memory space to display graphics and characters on the screen of a CRT 11. When a hard copy request is issued at this time, the main body CPU 10 sends the hard copy processing request to the CPU on a hard copy board 12 to report said request. The CPU on the hard copy board 12 reads in data of a video RAM 121 to execute the processing independently of the main body CPU 10 and informs the main body CPU 10 of the end at the time of terminating the processing. Since the main body CPU 10 is freely operated even in the hard copy period, it can execute another processing in accordance with the processing request. |
