PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic material having superior film-forming property and high adhesive property to a base body by incorporating a specified electron donative unit contg. carbazolyl groups and a specified electron acceptive unit contg. nitro groups in a specified molar ratio to each other. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer having >=30,000 number average mol.wt. contg. 50-95mol.% unit expressed by formula I and 5-50mol.% unit expressed by formula II is incorporated as a photoconductive body. In formulas I and II, R is H atom or <=4C alkyl group; Z is an alkylene group or an alkylene oxyalkylene group; n is an integer 1-3; Y is an aromatic group. By this constitution, a copolymer contg. an electron donative group and an electron acceptive group in a concn. enough for forming a charge transfer complex, and having superior film-forming property, high adhesive property, and high mol.wt. is provided. |
