PURPOSE:To obtain shock absorbing function and anti-rolling function as well by forming a passage in a groove form communicating an upper and a lower hydraulic chamber in a cylinder with each other in the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder with which a piston comes in contact slidably, and building up specified damping force when working oil passes through. CONSTITUTION:An upper and a lower hydraulic chamber A and B partitioned by a piston 20 are provided for the inside of a cylinder 10, an oil passage L communicating the upper and lower hydraulic chambers A and B with each other is concurrently provided. And a switchover valve 30 and a damping force build-up section 40 are provided for a base valve section 11 located underneath the cylinder 1 as well. In addition, an outer cylinder 12 and an inner cylinder 13 are provided for the outside of the cylinder 1, and a reservoir chamber C is also provided between the outer cylinder 12 and the inner cylinder 13. In the constitution as described above, a passage 10b in a groove form is formed in the inner circumference of the cylinder 10. And the upper and the lower hydraulic chambers A and B are mutually communicated via the passage 10b in a groove form when the piston 20 faces the passage 10b in a groove form. |
