<p>PURPOSE:To cope with rapid steering during high speed running and to improve a steering feeling, by a method wherein, during running at a high speed higher than some car speed, a battery voltage is boosted by a boosting circuit to apply the voltage on a control device and an electric motor. CONSTITUTION:A voltage signal Vo responding to an output signal Vs from a car speed sensor is generated from a voltage command circuit 126, and the signal Vo is compared with an interterminal voltage Vc of a capacitor 125 for smoothing by means of a voltage controller 127. A control signal is outputted to a drive circuit 128 of a transistor chopper 122 in a boosting circuit 12 to perform a chopper motion. The voltage command circuit 126 is set so that at a car speed higher than some car speed, for example, approximate 45km/h, a voltage command value is increased with the increase in a car speed. Further, transistor chopper circuits 118 and 119 are controlled by means of a current controller 117 so that a motor current I is coincided with a motor current command value Io from a current command circuit 116.</p> |
