METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE

PURPOSE:To obtain a good image even under high humidity and low humidity over a long period of time by incorporating conductive carbon black into the powder particles of a toner and providing a specific quantity of electrostatic capacity thereto. CONSTITUTION:The conductive carbon black is incorporated into the powder particles of the powder toner for developing electrostatic charge images and 6.0-11.0pF electrostatic capacity is provided thereto in a method for developing the electrostatic charge image by carrying the toner without using a magnetic effect and splashing the same to the electrostatic latent image opposed to a toner carrying roller apart a specified spacing therefrom. Fine powder of positive chargeable silica is incorporated at 0.05-1pt.wt. with 100pts.wt. toner. The good image is thus stably obtd. even under high humidity and low humidity over a long period by using a nonmagnetic one-component contactless development system.
