PURPOSE:To diagnose a peripheral device, in which trouble occurs, without having a great influence upon normal operation by causing a CPU whose use rate is low to execute a diagnosing program which diagnoses the peripheral device. CONSTITUTION:When a device table updating command is inputted for the purpose of disconnecting the peripheral device where trouble occurs out of peripheral devices 101-10n from the operation, device tables T12 and T22 of CPUs 1 and 2 are simultaneously updated, and CPU use rates of CPUs 1 and 2 are gathered onto one CPU use rate table T11 (T21), and CPU use rates of CPUs 1 and 2 are displayed on a display device 8 when a CPU use rate display command is inputted from an input device 7. Since the diagnosing program can be executed by arbitrary one of CPUs 1 and 2, an operator causes the CPU whose CPU use rate is lower out of CPUs 1 and 2 to execute the diagnosing program, thereby reducing the influence upon the normal operation. |
