<p>PURPOSE:To decrease a data transmission quantity between an external control device and a display panel by receiving a picture number and a variable picture data to be made built-in into a reserved null part from the external device with a display device and preparing a new display picture obtained with synthesizing the fixed picture data and the variable picture data. CONSTITUTION:A display device 3 is constituted so as to have a function to store the fixed picture data beforehand at every picture number, and so as to output the picture by designating the picture number with an external controller 2. Further, a null data area is provided in a place arbitrarily fixed in the fixed picture data for a set number or below, and the variable picture data to be made built-in into the null data area, are transmitted from the external controller 2 to the display device 3 with the use of a communicating means. Thus, the display 3 can edit and prepare the new picture data with a small communication quantity.</p> |
