PURPOSE: To prolong use life of a brake by axially moving the drive shaft of a motor, separating the brake/clutch unit and cutting off the inching drive shaft while starting operation of the motor. CONSTITUTION: A shaft 14 deviates to the brake/clutch unit 10 by a helical spring arranged in the drive shaft 14, a plurality of disks 54 and the plate 60 are alternatively installed in outer circumference spline 52 of sleeve 44 arranged in the shaft 14, and in the spline 58 of the circular sleeve 56. When the motor 12 is driven, the shaft 14 moves to the left against the spring force, then, while the disk 54 is separated from the laminate of the plate 60, the shaft is separated from the inching shaft of the unit 10 and rotates individually. While power of the motor is switched off, the shaft 14 moves to the right and engages to the unit 10, the brake is started. |
