A dielectric ceramic composition suitable for use in microwave regions including a mixture of 15-25 mol % of BaO and 85-75 mol % of TiO2, and Ba(Ni1/3Ta2/3)O3 in an amount of less than 0.2% based on the weight of the mixture. The ceramic composition may further include one or more metal oxides selected from La2O3, Sb2O3, Fe2O3 and Ta2O5 in an amount of 0.1-1.2% based on the weight of said mixture.
