<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate usage, and to automatically input information collected from users to a projecting managing tool by introducing a sketch sheet system on a computer display into the function design of a product. CONSTITUTION: First of all, a user 14 refers to functional product structure through a reference system 12 and in response to the input of the user, a data base 10 catches that structure in a table. With the progress of reference session, parts introduced by the user 14 are possessed in the table by a relational data base 10, and functional hierarchical tree structure 16 is generated on a computer screen. After the fixture of product structure, the next operation is to form an indentation parts list 18. Concerning respective items in the structure of the product, it is necessary for the user to input known production information but corresponding to this information, an estimated cost value can be drawn from the data base 10.</p> |
