<p>PURPOSE: To improve abrasion resistance by providing two projections on an end edge of a key blade and an expansion slot part to receive the projection in a key groove, specifying a position to stop a key when it is inserted and by preventing drawing of it. CONSTITUTION: Auxiliary pin chambers 54, 50 are formed on a shell 16 and a plug 18, an auxiliary bottom part pin 52 is stored in the chamber 50, and an expanded slot part 34 is formed on a front surface of the plug 18. Blind holes 84, 86 are drilled in a specified distance from a stop 26 of a blade 22, and projections 90, 92 are respectively fitted in them. A key is inserted into a key groove, and the projection 90 makes a contact end part of an auxiliary pin tumbler interface with a shear line between the plug 18 and a shell 60. When the plug 18 is made free to rotate, the projection 90 makes the pin 52 match with the shear line, the projection 92 can supplement a ring holder groove 70 on the side of the plug 18 and holds the inserted key.</p> |
