PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the sharpness of a color image scarcely deteriorating the sensitivity of the title material by incorporating a filter dyestuff in the photosensitive material, and specifying the amount of a heat solvent. CONSTITUTION:The heat development photosensitive material comprises plural layers contg. a binder, a photosensitive silver halide and a color matter supplying substance. And the photosensitive material contains the filter dyestuff having irradiation inhibiting ability, and the dyestuff etc. which is not transferred to an image receiving layer (for example a compd. shown by the formula) is incorporated in said layer. And, the heat solvent (for example, polyethylene glycol) is incorporated in the photosensitive material and/or an image receiving material in an amount of <2 times (wt. ratio) said solvent based on the total binder contd. in the photosensitive material. The photosensitive material is imagewisely exposed, and then a diffusible color matter capable of forming or releasing by heating it in the presence of the heat solvent and a reducing agent, is transferred in the image receiving layer to form the color image. |
