<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the filter of high strength and good performance with low pressure loss by welding the peripheries of an electrically charged filter and an deodorizing filter to integrate into one body. CONSTITUTION:In the filter used in a air cleaner for a home use or a office use, a nonwoven fabric 8 containing an electret filter 7 and a reinforced nonwoven fabric 5 of the deodorizing filter 11 contained with deodorizing agents 1-3 between honeycomb cores 6 covered with welded nonwoven fabric 4 are welded each other to integrate into one body. Thus, a certain members of parts of electret filter and deodorizing filter are eliminated because of the integration with the result that the performance of the filter 10 is improved and the pressure loss is reduced. Moreover, the electret filter 7 is not frayed as it is not exposed, and the reinforcing nonwoven fabric is covered with the electret filter 7 and the nonwoven fabric 8.</p> |
