PURPOSE:To compose a series of animated graphics on a sheet by dividing each color graphics file into two for conversion to rasters and combining them in frame memories for individual colors. CONSTITUTION:Graphics data prepared on a terminal 100 are delivered to a host unit 101 which performs interpolation of the line attribute of vector data representing line segments, and the upper and lower halves of each frame are stored in separate memories in accordance with the predetermined addresses stored in frame buffers for each color. The animated-graphics data associated with the separate regions are sent through an I/F 102 to a controller 103, which rotates the data by 270 deg.. The graphic images are sequentially stored in color memories 104-106 for synthesis and transfers to a color laser printer 108. Thus, a series of animated images are printed in color on a sheet. |
