PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a repeater and to constitute a loop by separating a node into the system of an outgoing path and the system of an incoming path. CONSTITUTION:Presently, when a LAN is composed of 100M bps, a transmission distance without a repeater is maximum 12km. Further, when the plural nodes are set on a straight line and a loop network is constructed by an optical fiber, a node interval is limited to <= an L (6km), and the node interval of every other node is limited to <= 2L. In such a way, by cascade-connecting the odd- number-th (3, 5, 7,...) node on the outgoing path from a starting point 1 to a termination N, and cascade-connecting the even-number-th node on the incoming path from the termination N to the starting point 1, the repeater is eliminated on the incoming path. |
