<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a dissimilar material joint remarkably improved in tensile strength, by a method wherein a specific intermediate material intervenes in a jointing part of a joint composed of different materials. CONSTITUTION:The end part of a joint 10, 11 mad of CFRP material is scooped and an intermediate member 12 is inserted into the part. A hole is made in the intermediate member 12 and processed so that an joint insert 13 made of aluminum can be inserted into it. On the other hand, intermediate members 16, 17 of the same material as that of said intermediate member 12 is fixed in the aluminum joint insert 13 and adheres. Next, the aluminum joint insert 13, to which the intermediate members 16, 17 have adhered, is inserted into the hole section of the intermediate member 12 of the joint 10, 11 made of CFRP material. As the part of adhesion between the CFRP joint and the aluminum joint is composed of the intermediate members 12, 16, 17 of the same material, the adhesion action is remarkably improved. Besides, as the aluminum joint part is thickly reinforced with the intermediate member 16, 17, it is also excellent in tensile strength.</p> |
