PURPOSE:To promote the improvement of accuracy of a relay in its acting time, by selecting a value (n) of a magnitude corresponding to a discharge time constant and multiplying an integrated quantity by the second constant every time an arithmetic period with an input value not more than a decision value is counted (n) times. CONSTITUTION:The second constant (mu) is fixed to a level not easily generating an error of an integrated quantity, while a value (n) in accordance with a discharge time constant tau is used as the new setting. Comparing an input value with a decision value in a predetermined arithmetic period (T), an integrated process is performed only when the input value exceeds the decision value, and when a period with the input value not more than the decision value is counted (n) times, the integrated quantity is multiplied by the second constant (mu). By this arithmetic process, because no integrating process is performed in the n-th period, fixing the second constant (mu) to a sufficiently small value, the integrated quantity is prevented from generating its error. Further the value (n) is determined by a relation t=nT, and by an expression of n=K.tau, the discharge arithmetic period can be determined. |
