PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding machine capable of holding a former through a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The winding machine 1 comprises: a flyer 50 that rotates around an armature (winding core) 7 and winds a wire 9 around the armature 7; and a former 20 that guides the wire 9 reeled out of the flyer 50 to the armature 7. The winding machine 1 further comprises a first and a second support shafts 21 and 22 and a joint 40. The first and second support shafts comprise: a first and a second spindles 11 and 71 that are rotationally driven in synchronization with each other; and a first and a second nozzles 94 and 96 that are respectively supported on the first and second spindles 11 and 71 and let through the wire 9 fed to the flyer 50. The first and second support shafts rotataby drive the flyer 50 through the first spindle 11, and are supported coaxially with the first and second spindles 11 and 71. The joint couples together the first and second support shafts 21 and 22 so that their relative rotation is prohibited. The centers of the first and second support shafts 21 and 22 are shifted from each other so that they are in parallel with each other, and the former 20 is kept in stationary state through the first supporting shaft 21.
