PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial motor that is provided with magnetic cores and enables the enhancement of efficiency, output, and the like, and also provide a manufacturing method for the axial motor. SOLUTION: The axial motor is a three-phase permanent-magnet motor of concentrated winding wherein a stator 1 and a rotor 3 are disposed opposite to each other in the axial direction. The stator 1 comprises a substantially disk-shaped stator main body 7, a plurality of concentrated winding coils 9 for driving, and the same number of stator magnetic cores 11 as the coils 9, and is fixed in a fixing portion (casing or the like). The rotor 3 comprises a substantially disk-shaped rotor main body 13 and a permanent magnets 15 in the number corresponding to the number (number of poles) of the coils 9 (the number of slots), and is fixed to a rotating shaft 5. The stator magnetic cores 11 are formed of dust cores obtained by binding metal magnetic powder or metal magnetic powder covered with predetermined coating with resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
