<p>A contact (10) for a connector is characterized by a barrel portion (14) having a layer of a reflowable solderable material (32, 34) disposed on the inner and outer surfaces thereof. The barrel (14) is expansible from a first to a second dimension upon the insertion of a camming member (70) thereinto. The contact is disposed in a connector (40) that is used in conjunction with a pin header (58) and a board (B) to form a circuit board assembly (50) in which the connections may be mass terminated.</p> |
