The tray made from a blank of corrugated cardboard covered with a sheet of fluid-tight paper in such a way as to have a bottom 2 from which rise four sides 3 and 8, parallel in pairs and symmetrical, obtained by folding, two of the said four sides 3 being intended to lock the folds of four corner parts 5 in a way which is known per se and the other two sides each having an integral outward rim 10 whose effect is both to reinforce the rigidity of the tray on the said sides 8 and to ensure fluid-tightness over the entire external contour of the said tray 1 is characterised in that it comprises at least two fixing tongues 7 disposed on either side of the rim 11 of a side 3, these tongues being inserted in a gusset 12 of the side 3 in order to close the tray. <IMAGE>
