The invention relates to a novel type of food-cooking burner for restaurants, which is more powerful by means of its elongate shape. It consists of a head having eight outlet orifices, a cylindrical body with four oxygen holes at its base, and a jet. The combination of several burners gives us increased cooking power. Each burner provides 2000 calories. The burner according to the invention is particularly intended for Asiatic professional catering. <IMAGE>
