The field of the invention is that of fixed installations for washing private or utility vehicles. The objective of the invention is to provide such an installation which makes it possible to improve the efficiency and rapidity of washing by virtue of the use of fluids at optimised temperatures, and particularly at a temperature below that of the mains for certain phases, a minimized cost of use by virtue of a decrease in water, energy and product consumption, and a low investment cost by virtue of a modular design making it possible to prefabricate the hydraulic, electrical and electronic assemblies. These objects are reached with the aid of an installation particularly characterised in that it comprises two tanks 1, 2 for storing the washing fluid which are connected thermally by heat exchangers 3, 4 to at least one thermodynamic unit 5. <IMAGE>
